The city was under siege, surrounded by the enemy. The defenders had bravely held the outer walls, pushing back the assailants wave after wave. But now something new was coming on the horizon, something that turned the blood of even the most seasoned soldiers to ice. What seemed to be a mountain was walking towards the city, each of its steps making the earth tremble. The gigantic being stopped as it approached the first line of defense, staring at the city and indifferent to all the projectiles shot at it. Then, with unsuspected ease, it bent forward. Resting on the mountain's shoulders was a massive canon, and it was now aiming at the wall. The defenders were speechless and stood frozen in terror, for they knew the worst what about to happen. The silence was broken by a powerful cry, thousands of assailants shouting in unison one single word: "Galmi!". As the soldiers on the wall realized what they were facing, they tried to flee, but too late. With a deafening detonation, the canon fired and the wall disappeared in a maelstrom of dust and debris. The city was breached, and all hope of defending it was gone.
